We like fruits and vegetables because they’re tasty and useful for us. But did you ever think they can be used as a canvas for an artist? That is where Japanese chef Takehiro Kishimoto finds his source of inspiration.
Apples, avocados, cabbages, cucumbers… anything can be a canvas. With a help of knife Takehiro turns it into elegant flowers. Have you ever seen chestnut roses or carrot peonies? They do exist! As well as anime characters carved on apples and eggplants.
